XPENG AEROHT began trial production of its flying car in Guangzhou, aiming for 2026 deliveries.
On November 3, 2025, XPENG AEROHT launched trial production at a Guangzhou factory it claims is the world’s first dedicated to mass-producing flying cars.
The 120,000-square-meter facility in Huangpu district began producing the "Land Aircraft Carrier," a modular flying car with a six-wheel ground vehicle and detachable electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
The factory, with an initial annual capacity of 5,000 units and a planned maximum of 10,000, aims to assemble one aircraft every 30 minutes.
The eVTOL supports both manual and automated flight, including one-touch take-off and landing, and the vehicle can be driven on public roads with a standard license.
XPENG AEROHT has secured nearly 5,000 pre-orders, with mass production and deliveries expected in 2026.
