The UAE National Orchestra has begun rehearsals in Abu Dhabi, bringing together 70 full-time musicians and 30 part-time choir members selected from over 3,200 global applicants.
Led by Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi and under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ensemble will launch its inaugural season with performances across all seven Emirates—marking the first nationwide orchestral tour.
Under artistic director Amine Kouider, the orchestra blends Arabic and Western traditions to reflect the UAE’s cultural heritage and modern vision.
The initiative supports the UAE’s 'We the UAE 2031' strategy and national cultural goals, aiming to promote unity, creativity, and global cultural outreach through music.
