Two Sterling Heights residents, Dawn and Rachard Huffman, were arraigned on Nov. 3 in connection with the Oct. 14 attempted murder of Macomb Township businessman Eddie Jawad, who was shot outside his home.

A third suspect, Jasan Martin, 32, of Eastpointe, was previously arrested and now faces additional conspiracy charges.
Surveillance footage and vehicle tracking led investigators to Martin, who allegedly entered Jawad’s property, waited nearly 45 minutes, and fired seven shots.
Jawad, who owns multiple gas stations, sustained minor injuries.
The suspects were denied low-cost bonds and must wear GPS trackers if released.
