A North Carolina man was arrested for setting a fire during a domestic dispute, accused of threatening his wife and destroying property.
Jeremiah Nathan Bartlett, 40, of McDowell County, North Carolina, was arrested and charged with felony burning of personal property and misdemeanor communicating threats after allegedly setting a structure fire on October 27 during a domestic dispute.
Deputies found him fleeing the scene, and investigators confirmed his involvement through threatening texts and videos sent to his wife.
Due to the domestic violence aspect, he was denied bond and remains jailed.
The fire’s cause and extent were not disclosed.
