A man was charged for fleeing a crash in Bathurst that left a passenger with serious head injuries.
A 33-year-old man was charged in Bathurst, New South Wales, after allegedly failing to stop following a crash on October 26, 2025, that caused a 30-year-old passenger to fall from a white Mitsubishi Triton, sustaining serious head injuries.
The victim was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in critical condition.
Police confirmed the vehicle continued west on Stewart Street after the incident and was later seized.
The driver, who was arrested on November 4 at a residence on Sydney Road, Kelso, was charged with failing to stop and assist after a vehicle impact causing grievous bodily harm, granted conditional bail, and is set to appear in Bathurst Local Court on November 19.
The two men are believed to have known each other.
