A man charged with 11 attempted murders after a London train stabbing is accused of a separate earlier attack, police say.
A 32-year-old man, Anthony Williams, has been charged with 11 counts of attempted murder and possession of a bladed weapon after a stabbing attack on a train from Doncaster to London on November 1, 2025, injuring 11 people, including a railway worker in critical condition.
He faces additional charges related to a separate stabbing at a London light rail station earlier that day.
Police arrested Williams at Huntingdon station, where the train was stopped, and have ruled out terrorism, stating he acted alone.
A second man was released without charge.
Williams, from Peterborough, appeared in court and was remanded in custody.
Authorities are investigating possible links to prior knife incidents in his hometown, but no further suspects are being sought.
