Jeppesen ForeFlight has launched as an independent company after Boeing sold its Digital Aviation Solutions assets to Thoma Bravo in a $10.55 billion all-cash deal completed in November 2025.
The new entity, led by CEO Brad Surak, integrates Jeppesen, ForeFlight, AerData, and OzRunways into a unified aviation software platform serving commercial, business, military, and general aviation.

Around 3,900 Boeing employees transferred to the new company, which aims to accelerate innovation and global expansion under Thoma Bravo’s software investment expertise.
