I.Lead, YES Disability, Permobil, and Eden Park are collaborating on December 3, 2025, to attempt a world record for the longest line of moving wheelchairs at Eden Park Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand, coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The event aims to unite 600 wheelchairs in a continuous line, open to all participants, including non-disabled individuals who can borrow wheelchairs, promoting inclusion and awareness.
Entry is $5 via Eventbrite, with free access for support persons, and the initiative aligns with the global theme of building disability-inclusive societies.
The effort seeks to boost visibility and equity for people with disabilities in Aotearoa.
