The Carlton Crusaders’ 2025 football season ended with a 31-24 semifinal loss to Moose Jaw Central in the 5A provincial playoffs, concluding their title defense.
Despite a strong effort, including a 285-yard passing performance by quarterback Phillips and key contributions from receiver Bladen Dogniez, the Crusaders fell behind in the third quarter and couldn’t overcome Moose Jaw’s balanced offense led by Kayden Nightingale’s 173 rushing yards and quarterback Hudson Belsher’s 262 passing yards.
