Airtel more than doubled profit to ₹8,651 crore in Q3 FY26, fueled by growth in India and Africa, higher ARPU, and increased smartphone users.
Bharti Airtel reported a more than doubling of consolidated net profit to ₹8,651 crore for the September quarter of FY26, driven by strong growth in India and Africa, higher average revenue per user (ARPU) of ₹256, and a surge in premium smartphone and postpaid customers.
Revenue rose 25.7% year-on-year to ₹52,145 crore, with India’s operations contributing ₹38,690 crore, up 22.6%.
The company added 5.1 million smartphone users, expanded its 4G/5G network with new towers and fiber, and saw 4.3% sequential revenue growth in its business segment.
Airtel Africa also delivered a 36% revenue increase in rupee terms.
The company’s shares rose 0.93% to ₹2,073.75 on the BSE.
