Airtel is buying 5% more of Indus Towers, boosting its stake to 56.03%, pending approval.
Bharti Airtel has approved buying an additional 5% stake in its infrastructure unit Indus Towers, valued at over ₹5,000 crore, raising its ownership to about 56.03%.
The deal, not classified as a related-party transaction, was cleared by a special committee and may be completed in tranches, pending market conditions and regulatory approval.
As of September 30, public shareholders held 48.93% of Indus Towers, while Vodafone exited in December 2024 after selling its 3% stake.
Indus Towers closed at ₹382.70 on November 3, 2025.
