A woman’s body found in Indiana’s Blue Grass Fish and Wildlife Area is under investigation as a possible homicide.
A woman’s body was found Sunday afternoon in the Blue Grass Fish and Wildlife Area in Warrick County, Indiana, near a boat ramp on New Harmony Road close to Klippel Road.
Authorities, including Indiana State Police, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office, are treating the death as suspicious.
The woman, believed to be white, in her late teens to early 30s, about five feet tall and weighing 130 pounds with dark hair, was discovered at 1:23 p.m. by a fisherman.
Foul play is suspected, and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
Investigators are seeking the public’s help to identify her or provide information, urging contacts to call Indiana State Police at 812-867-2079, with anonymous tips accepted.
The case remains under active investigation.
