South Korea's online shopping hit a record high in September 2025, rising 13.3% year-on-year to 23.8 trillion won ($16.6 billion), driven by surging demand for Tesla vehicles and car accessories, food and beverage purchases, and agricultural products.
Sales of travel services, daily essentials, electronics, clothing, and cosmetics also grew significantly.
Mobile shopping accounted for 75.9% of total online sales, up 11%, while e-coupon use edged up 1.9%.
