Speaking at a fan event in Mumbai, Khan called the film a personal passion project that aimed to pioneer Indian superhero cinema and push visual effects boundaries, though it didn’t spark the industry shift he hoped for at the time. He noted that today’s audiences, more familiar with gaming and digital technology, might better appreciate its vision, and emphasized that only Sinha could lead a follow-up. The original film starred Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Rampal, and followed a video game villain who comes to life. No official plans have been announced.
