On November 3, 2025, over 350 delegates from 90 countries and major global organizations convened in Doha for the first high-level meeting of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, with membership exceeding 200 nations and groups. The summit focused on coordinated strategies to combat rising global hunger amid conflict, climate change, and economic instability, highlighting progress under the Fast-Track Initiative, including validated national plans in Ethiopia, Haiti, Kenya, and Zambia. The alliance has received over 85 partnership offers, launched two Seville Platform initiatives, and advanced plans in several nations.
