The NTA corrected a mistake, confirming no calculators will be allowed in the 2026 JEE Main exam.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) confirmed that no calculators, including onscreen ones, will be allowed in the JEE Main 2026 exam, correcting a previous error in the information bulletin that mistakenly mentioned a standard calculator.
The agency stated the reference was a typographical error and removed it from the updated bulletin.
Online registration, which began October 31, closes November 27.
The first exam session runs January 21–30, 2026, with results expected February 26.
The exam, held twice yearly, includes three papers with varying formats and marking schemes, and PwD candidates receive extra time.
