In September 2025, Mukund Agiwal of Madhya Pradesh scored 500 out of 600 in India’s Chartered Accountancy Final exam, achieving All India Rank 1 among over 81,000 candidates.
He credited his success to a disciplined 12-hour daily study routine, mastery of fundamentals, and practical experience during a three-year articleship with an EY associate firm.
Tejas Mundada of Hyderabad secured Rank 2 with 492 marks, while Bakul Gupta of Alwar earned Rank 3.
The exam’s pass rate was 16.23%, with Group I and II pass rates at 24.66% and 25.26%, respectively.
ICAI officials praised the top performers, highlighting their dedication and the role of mentorship.
