A 168-hectare Victorian farm, Mount Camel, sold for $1M after over 100 years of family ownership.
A 168-hectare grazing and cropping property named Mount Camel, located 17 km north of Heathcote in Central Victoria, has sold for $1 million after more than a century of family ownership.
The land, valued at about $5,968 per hectare, includes 81 hectares of arable land, a natural spring, a large dam with good catchment, Cornella Creek, and a shelterbelt of old gum trees.
The original farmhouse is not currently liveable.
Situated 15 minutes from Heathcote and 35 minutes from Bendigo, the property has potential for multiple home sites, though development requires council approval.
The sale was managed by Todd Property Heathcote.
