The Belleville Humane Society’s sold-out Fall Vendor Show raised funds for animal care through vendor sales and a raffle.
The Belleville Humane Society’s Fall Vendor Show sold out on Saturday, drawing strong community support as a kickoff to the festive season.
All 18 vendor booths were filled, with proceeds from sales and a raffle going directly to the shelter to cover animal care and operating costs.
Organizers said the event’s success highlights ongoing community generosity, as the shelter operates without public funding.
Vendors, including long-time supporters Andy Siddell and Andrew Moss, donated 100% of their earnings after covering personal expenses, while others like Heather Schwager contributed a portion of each sale.
The shelter remains open Monday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., encouraging visits, adoptions, volunteer sign-ups, and donations via its website.
