The 48th annual Newcastle Toy Run kicked off with a bike show at Newcastle Station, showcasing custom motorcycles, trikes, and classic bikes, with Graham "Boogeyman" Taranto and Ann-Maree Hinton winning top honors.
The event, now in its 50th year, continues to support children in need during the holidays, with the main ride scheduled for December 7 from Stockton to Carrington.
Last year, it raised $50,000 and collected toys worth $250,000.
Organizers emphasize its mission to help struggling families, noting the tradition’s enduring impact as participants return with their own children.
