A house party in Spindale, North Carolina, turned violent early Saturday morning when gunfire erupted inside a home on Oakland Road, prompting a police response at around 3:57 a.m. Officers found people fleeing the residence and heard additional shots from the roadway. Investigators believe a fight at the party led to someone firing a weapon inside, followed by multiple shots from an AR-style pistol outside, resulting in 14 bullet impacts on the home, including several that struck a neighboring unoccupied apartment.
