Iowa State tight end Benjamin Brahmer was carted off the field during a Nov. 1 game against Arizona State after collapsing following a hard hit in the fourth quarter. The 17-yard touchdown catch earlier in the game was his fourth of the season, and he finished with three receptions for 48 yards before exiting. Brahmer appeared disoriented, wobbled before falling, but was alert during transport and moved his fingers. He was taken to Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames for precautionary evaluation. No further medical details have been released, and his status remains uncertain.
