Using pairs of children’s shoes to symbolize those denied proper education due to delays, lack of placements, or exclusion, the demonstrations—part of the national "Every Pair Tells a Story" campaign—draw attention to over 70,000 children awaiting Education, Health and Care Plans and more than 600,000 identified as having special needs.
Organized by The SEND Sanctuary UK and local groups, the events, occurring on November 3, aim to demand urgent government action, systemic reform, and improved support, following a major London rally and growing parent-led advocacy.
