AURA AERO has opened its first U.S. production facility in Daytona Beach, Florida, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Research Park, where it will assemble the INTEGRAL trainer aircraft, available in piston and electric versions, pending FAA approval.
The company plans to launch its 19-seat hybrid-electric ERA aircraft by 2028 at a larger Florida facility, supported by state officials and Space Florida, with over 650 letters of intent valued at $10.5 billion, including one-third from U.S. customers.
