Scott Howard, 35, was sentenced to 21 years in prison for leading a Liverpool drug network tied to the "Wong" and "Won Chin" heroin and cocaine supply chains.
Along with four co-defendants, Howard was linked to a Skorpion submachine gun used in two 2022 shootings, including one injuring a woman, and a second illegal firearm found in woodland near Rice Lane Recreation Ground.
DNA from two known drug users was found on the gun.
Another defendant, Terence Clarke, was identified as a key supplier using the encrypted EncroChat platform.
Howard was arrested near the woodland site with gloves and a balaclava, and made a profane outburst in court.
The group’s combined sentences total nearly 50 years.
