Jess Farrell, a mother of three and former sous chef, launched The Bread Shed six months ago in Waterford, Ontario, turning her sourdough passion into a full-time home-based bakery under the province’s cottage food law.
Her business, now expanding with a garage kitchen and plans for commercial space, sells daily-outsold loaves, cookies, and seasonal items.
