Huda Beauty has ended its collaboration with Love Island alum Huda Mustafa following a livestream incident on October 27, 2025, in which a caller used a racial slur against former castmate Olandria Carthen, and Mustafa appeared to laugh with her boyfriend, Perfect Match star Louis Russell. The brand, founded by Huda Kattan, announced the decision on October 31, stating Mustafa’s response conflicted with its values of kindness and humanity and took all forms of racism seriously. Though Mustafa later apologized, saying her reaction was nervous and inappropriate, the backlash from fans, castmates, and Carthen led Huda Beauty to remove all promotional content featuring her. The partnership, which included a product launch and events, is now terminated.
