The Royal Canadian Legion’s 2025 National Poppy Campaign launched on October 31, running through Remembrance Day on November 11, with expanded donation options including tap-to-donate boxes, online giving via Amazon.ca and Legion.ca, and home delivery of poppies. Funds support veterans and their families through the Poppy Trust Fund, aiding with benefits, emergency needs, and rehabilitation. The campaign features new initiatives like decorated transit vehicles, remembrance crosswalks, and the poppystories.ca platform to share veterans’ stories. Electronic billboards will go dark at 11 a.m. on November 11 for a two-minute silence. Poppy sales continue across Canada, including in Thunder Bay, Sparwood, and Oxford County, with donations tax-deductible and proceeds supporting veteran services without funding legion operations.
