Blenheim Palace and London design studio Ilex Studio have launched an Acorn Vase priced at £35, available in two colors, allowing users to grow an oak tree from an acorn collected on the estate. The transparent glass vase magnifies the germination process and includes planting instructions and a booklet about the palace’s historic oaks. Each vase contains one of thousands of acorns gathered annually and nurtured in the estate’s nursery to become future ancient trees. The initiative aims to promote tree planting, environmental awareness, and a connection to Blenheim’s natural heritage, offering individuals a hands-on role in reforestation.
