Soundgarden, inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2025, will perform a Seattle tribute with local legends and release a final album of Chris Cornell’s unreleased work.
Soundgarden, set for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2025, plans a Seattle-centric tribute performance honoring their roots and the city’s music legacy.
The band, led by Matt Cameron and Kim Thayil, will feature guest appearances by local icons like Mike McCready, Jerry Cantrell, Nancy Wilson, Brandi Carlile, and Taylor Momsen.
They’re also releasing a final album with unreleased recordings by frontman Chris Cornell, who died in 2017, following a resolution to a yearslong legal dispute with his estate.
The ceremony, on November 8 in Los Angeles, will stream live on Disney+ and also honor The White Stripes, Bad Company, Joe Cocker, Outkast, Cyndi Lauper, and Chubby Checker.
