Jamaican artist Sean Paul is matching donations up to $50,000 for Hurricane Melissa relief in Jamaica, where the Category 5 storm caused widespread destruction and at least 30 deaths.
The storm, which made landfall on October 28 with 185 mph winds, damaged homes, infrastructure, and utilities, displacing families across the island.
Through the Sean Paul Foundation and Food For The Poor Jamaica, he is helping deliver aid and urging global support.
The storm also affected eastern Cuba and Haiti, with at least 47 fatalities reported.
Paul emphasized unity, calling for solidarity: “Let’s stand strong for Jamaica one love, one family, one nation.” Donations are accepted via Food For The Poor Jamaica’s website.
