Consumer prices in Ireland rose 2.7% over the past year, with the HICP up 0.2% from September to October 2025. Energy prices increased 2.7% annually and 2.0% in the month, while food costs climbed 4.6% yearly and 0.3% in October. Excluding energy and unprocessed food, inflation was 2.6% year-on-year. Transport costs fell 0.3% in October but rose 1.9% over the year. The CSO attributed the annual rate to a low base in October 2024. Eurostat is expected to release Eurozone inflation flash estimates for October 2025 on October 31.
