Country singer Kaitlin Butts has signed with Republic Records, announced October 30, 2025, following the viral success of her single “You Ain’t Gotta Die (To Be Dead To Me).” Her debut release with the label, a five-song EP titled Yeehaw Sessions, arrives November 14 and features covers of songs by Jimmy Eat World, Chappell Roan, Don Williams, and The Chicks, along with a reprise of her hit. “The Middle” will be released as a single on Friday. Butts cited Republic’s alignment with her genre-blending vision—country, Americana, and pop—as a key reason for the move. The label, home to artists like Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift, continues expanding in country music. The announcement follows her 2024 album Roadrunner! and 2022 covers EP Sad Yeehaw Sessions, along with touring with Lainey Wilson.
