The National Art Museum in Baku opened "A Life Left Unfinished," a exhibition honoring the 100th anniversary of Azerbaijani artist Tofig Javadov, featuring over 90 works—paintings, graphics, and book illustrations—many newly restored and shown publicly for the first time. The exhibit traces his artistic journey from emotional early pieces to philosophical later works, showcasing his blend of national themes and avant-garde style. Held as part of the "Fly to Baku. Art Weekend. Sense the Future NOW" festival, which runs from October 31 to November 2 and focuses on water as a symbol of life and sustainability, the event highlights Javadov’s lasting influence on Azerbaijan’s art scene and ongoing efforts to preserve his legacy.
