Adam Lo's murder trial, linked to a deadly 2025 Vancouver festival attack, is delayed to Jan. 12, 2026, for evidence review.
The trial of Adam Kai-Ji Lo, charged with 11 counts of second-degree murder and 31 counts of attempted murder in connection with a fatal April 2025 SUV attack at Vancouver’s Lapu Lapu Day festival, has been adjourned to January 12, 2026.
The delay, agreed upon by prosecutors and defense, allows time to review thousands of pages of evidence disclosed by the Crown, including surveillance footage, witness statements, and forensic reports.
Lo, who is fit to stand trial after a mental fitness assessment, appeared by video in court.
The attack killed 11 people and injured several others.
A publication ban remains on details from the mental health evaluation.
