The 2026 Supercars Championship will debut Toyota’s Supra with six entries, starting February 20 at Sydney Motorsport Park, featuring a 14-round calendar—the most since 2019—highlighted by a new double-header in New Zealand’s South Island.
The season opens with a free-entry weekend, includes a Sprint Cup ending in August, and retains the Bathurst 1000 on October 8, followed by an elimination finals series concluding in Adelaide on December 6.
Supercars CEO James Warburton called the season a milestone, citing Toyota’s entry and expanded access.
The Super2 Series also undergoes major changes, including a debut at Darwin’s Hidden Valley, Perth’s return in late July, and the removal of Townsville and Queensland Raceway.
