Norfolk Metals is advancing its maiden drilling campaign at Chile’s Carmen project, completing 29 of 34 planned reverse circulation holes totaling 2,176 meters, with two additional holes planned in the Higueritas Belt.
The company is accelerating validation by converting diamond drill plans to RC, re-assaying historic core for copper and gold, and targeting high-grade intercepts like a 63-meter zone at 1.45% copper.
A diamond rig will follow with 2,575 meters of 24/7 drilling to assess deeper sulphides.
Results and data, including drill plans and sections, are expected later in the quarter to support a JORC-compliant resource.
