NDA claims victory in Bihar polls, citing unity and welfare gains, with results Nov. 14.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared on October 29, 2025, that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is poised to win a two-thirds majority in Bihar’s upcoming assembly elections, predicting the end of political influence by Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rahul Gandhi by November 14.
Speaking in Samastipur, Shah cited strong public support, unity among the NDA’s five parties—BJP, JD(U), LJP(RV), HAM(S), and RLM—comparing them to the Pandavas, and credited the 11-year "double-engine government" with delivering 85.2 million free food grain rations and 6.6 crore Jan Dhan accounts.

Voting will occur in two phases on November 6 and 11, with results on November 14.
