Aaron Thompson, a 31-year-old Florida violinist, was arrested and charged with felony criminal mischief for destroying about 80 pumpkins worth $472 outside a Tampa Bay Target store on October 21. Surveillance footage shows him smashing pumpkins at 1:15 AM. He admitted to the act after being shown the video, citing anger over a Facebook harassment incident. Police said he showed no remorse and fled the scene to sleep. Thompson, with prior convictions for burglary, battery, and trespass, remains jailed on a $5,000 bond.
