Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi of the UAE has been named a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Education and Book Culture, recognizing her global leadership in advancing literacy, publishing, and access to knowledge.
As President of the American University of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority, she has championed education, women’s empowerment, and cultural initiatives, including founding PublisHer and supporting the Marrakesh Treaty.
