Thai Herbal Hong Thai has recalled 200,000 units of its Hong Thai Herbal Inhaler Formula 2, batch 000332, due to microbial contamination exceeding safety limits, including yeasts, moulds, and Clostridium spp., as found by Thailand’s FDA. The batch, produced on December 9, 2024, and expiring December 8, 2027, is the only affected lot. The company is destroying the recalled products and implementing stricter quality controls, including UV sterilization. Consumers are urged to discontinue use, and refunds or replacements are available. The FDA has not disclosed the full scope of distribution beyond Thailand.
