A High Court case alleging shareholder oppression in the Rose of Tralee festival company may be halted after Richard Henggeler, a 31.1% shareholder and U.S.-based businessman, died on October 7, 2025, at age 73.
Henggeler had sued festival CEO Anthony O’Gara, director John McCarthy, and the company over share sales and a repaid €96,414 loan.
