Haier Tech Europe is selling its 130,000 sqm manufacturing plant near Ploiești, Romania, as part of a strategic restructuring, with real estate firm Colliers managing the sale.
The facility, opened in 2021 with a €70 million investment, will close after a 2025 review.
Meanwhile, Romania’s textile maker Tanex reported a 13.6% revenue drop in 2024, while Farmaciile Remedia considers closing rural pharmacies to focus on robotic distribution.
