Goa CM opens new agricultural marketing sub yard and launches housing scheme application drive.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant inaugurated a new sub yard for the Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing Board in Nagarcem, Canacona, on October 29, 2025, alongside officials including Cabinet Minister Ramesh Tawadkar. The facility aims to improve agricultural infrastructure, support farmers, and promote sustainable rural development by enhancing market access, storage, and value-chain systems. Sawant also distributed application forms for the Mhaje Ghar Yojana housing scheme, urging eligible Goan families to apply within six months amid strong public interest.
