Former Blur bassist Alex James tours UK in 2026 with orchestral versions of 90s Britpop hits.

Alex James, former Blur bassist, is launching a UK tour for his Britpop Classical concert series in March 2026, featuring orchestral re-arrangements of iconic 90s Britpop hits from bands like Blur, Oasis, and Pulp. The show, which debuted at James’ Big Feastival in 2025, will include performances with the London Concert Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, live band, and guest vocalists including Phil Daniels, Saffron of Republica, and Gary Stringer of Reef. Dates span major cities like Newcastle, Manchester, and Glasgow, with festival appearances at Latitude and Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Tickets go on general sale October 31, 2025.
