A 26-year-old man died in a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 125 in Lemon Grove early Sunday morning, following a collision between a Nissan Sentra and a stopped Mercedes-Benz, which was then struck by a Ford Edge. The Nissan passenger fled the scene, leaving the deceased behind. Four others were injured, including the drivers and passengers of the Mercedes and Ford. The California Highway Patrol is investigating, with no confirmation yet on whether alcohol or drugs were involved.
