A 36-year-old man from Blewbury, Oxfordshire, was sentenced to 45 months in prison on October 27, 2025, after being convicted of assault by beating, stalking, and perverting the course of justice.
Daniel New received separate terms of 27 months for stalking and 18 months for obstructing justice, served consecutively, plus a three-month sentence for assault, served concurrently.
He was also issued a lifelong restraining order.
Police had issued a public appeal in June, urging residents to report sightings without approaching him, citing concerns over witness intimidation and ongoing harassment.
The case was handled by Oxford Crown Court under UK law.
