The Newcastle Knights have signed veteran playmaker Kirra Dibb on a three-year NRLW deal, adding experience after losing Dally M winner Jesse Southwell and top tryscorer Sheridan Gallagher. Dibb, a 28-year-old Central Coast native, returns to the club where she helped win the 2022 premiership, bringing 45 NRLW appearances, leadership, and versatility as a halfback or five-eighth. She previously played for the Sydney Roosters, New Zealand Warriors, and North Queensland Cowboys, where she was inaugural co-captain and scored 60 points in nine games this season. Knights coach Ben Jeffries praised her game management, kicking, and mentorship, noting her impending 50th NRLW game. The Cowboys confirmed her release, acknowledging her impact as a role model.
