Despite steady demand at 8.45 million barrels per day, domestic gasoline supply dropped slightly to 216.7 million barrels, while crude oil inventories fell 1 million barrels to 422.8 million—4% below the five-year average.
WTI crude rose to $58.50 per barrel.
