Burglars stole 68 grams of gold and about Rs 35,000 from the Jalgaon bungalow of former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse, breaking in during the night of October 27–28. The theft was discovered Tuesday morning by a caretaker, prompting a police investigation led by senior officials. The house was unoccupied at the time. This incident follows a recent robbery at a petrol pump owned by Khadse’s daughter-in-law, Union minister Raksha Khadse, in the same area. No suspects have been identified, and the motive remains under investigation.
